Hi Friends,
Phillip and I are at the airport in Ft Myers and about to leave for vacation! We're on our way to Las Vegas, Nevada and I'm looking forward to our time together. We lived in Las Vegas from 1986 to 1994 and we're excited to go back and see the old neighborhood :). I can't wait to share our trip with you when we get back!
Last night at Bible study I taught on the life of Mary, Jesus' mother. While preparing for this lesson I came to know Mary as a young girl, a mother and as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I would love to write more about Mary...but our flight is boarding. So I will leave you with my memory verse which is John 2:5 where Mary says, "Do whatever He tells you.". That's my prayer for you and me, that we would do whatever He tells us....that we would obey Him!
Love in Christ,
Karen

1 Lord, I will praise you with all my heart.
In front of those who think they are gods
I will sing praise to you.
2 I will bow down facing your holy temple.
I will praise your name,
because you are loving and faithful.
You have honored your name and your word
more than anything else.
3 When I called out to you, you answered me.
You made me strong and brave.

sorry to be so late in posting. I haven't been on the computer much lately. The Lord reminded me of this verse again recently and I will continue to cling to Him and His promises.
Galatians 6:9
Do not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time I will reap a harvest if I do not give up.
I'm NOT giving up.
My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.
Psalm 63: 8
Exactly how I have been feeling lately. I don't know how anyone ever lives without God.
