Philippians 4:4-5

Hi Friends!

This morning I was reading in The Message and fell in love with the paraphrase of Philippians 4:4-5 which says:
Celebrate God all day, every day.  I mean, revel in him!  Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you're on their side, working with them and not against them.  Help them see that the Master is about to arrive.  He could show up any minute!
Have a wonderful day!  I can't wait to read the verses the Lord has placed on your heart!   For those of you who are in Thursday Night Bible study I look forward to hearing your verses this week :-)

And, for those of you who are not in the Thursday night study...let's talk this weekend.  It's time for us to catch up and share God's Word!

Love in Him!
Karen

But now, thus says the LORD, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! Isaiah 43:1

See you next week! Love, Teresa

Teresa,

I love that verse...memorized it years ago. It will apply to all sorts of situations in your life.

Here is my next verse on GRACE:

2 Corinthians 12: 9 (NLT)

"My gracious favor is all you need. My power works best in your weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me.

The Lord is my Strength, my shield from every danger. I Trust Him with all my heart. He helps me and my heart is filled with Joy. (Psalm 28:7 NIV)

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into capitivity to the obedience of Christ.

Leah, I have the same verse pressed on my heart! :) I love that.

2 Corinthians 12:9 NASB
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.' Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me."
Help me, Lord, to not be afraid to be weak. Amen!

Hi everyone! I've missed study for a couple of weeks but I will be there this thursday. I decided to memorize my favorite verse this week because it was Valentine's Day :) it's a long one!

"4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8Love never fails."
1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Kate Bogdan- I know I am far from the Proverbs 31 wife, God bless Eve!

Proverbs 31:10-13
10 An excellent wife who can find?
She is far more precious than jewels.
11The heart of her husband trusts in her,
and he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good, and not harm,
all the days of her life.
13 She seeks wool and flax,
and works with willing hands.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:2-3

Following His Lead said...

"The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26. I share this verse often in writing, but want to learn it word for word to speak this blessing over others.
